About Me
I am Zelong Yin, a PhD student in Applied Physics at Stanford University, where I work with Prof. Amir Safavi-Naeini in the Laboratory of Integrated Nano-Quantum Systems (LINQS). I obtained bachelor’s degrees in physics and mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My research spans quantum hardware, quantum theory, and cryogenic systems, with the long-term goal of building scalable quantum information processing systems. I am drawn to problems that require close integration of physical theory, experimental design, systems engineering, and computational methods for optimization and automation.
